Emma Baker is a filmmaker whose work explores the unreal. She believes fantasy and surrealism are powerful tools for telling intimate stories, using fantastical imagery to transport audiences beyond the present moment. Through her work, Emma hopes to connect with people across all experiences, to speak to a shared sense of humanity.

Currently based in Los Angeles, Emma graduated summa cum laude with a B.F.A. in Film from Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts. During her time at Syracuse University, Emma developed her skills in writing, directing, cinematography, and camera operation, studying under industry professionals. Her films have been recognized and screened around the world.
